My thoughts:

This was the first western romance book I was able to finish. In previous reads, I felt like I was in two different time periods or too bored with western ways; Reese wasn't too western or too modern...it was just right. It had it's flaws but Reese's story was touching and made me decide it's not worth judging a book just by a few imperfections. Lori Handeland is a wonderful writer. Her book kept me entertained with very enjoyable characters from start to end.

Yes. The Characters. Specifically the Rock Creek Six!

Reese, Sullivan, Rico, Jed, Nate and Cash. Men I will never forget. They have the best personalities when you're in the mood to read a story with close guy-friends who have much respect for one another. Mary, the school teacher whom Reese has fallin in love with is another great character in the story, Reese and Mary's relationship was one the best.

All in all, the action, to the romance to the dialogue from the characters...everything came together splendidly. 

I'm currently reading Sullivan's story, book two in the Rock Creek Six Series, and it's just as good so far.

~I've read the first few chapters of this YA fantasy(romance) and it's engaging. Solid enjoyment. The characters and their stories held my interest so far. The sequel, Froi and Exiles, releases March 13 2012 in the US.

Fair Coin (Coin #1) by E.C Myers

~I received this from Pyr Publishers for review and I"m looking forward to it; based on the book description it has potential to attract a good audience-including me *smiles* Thanks Pyr publishers and E.C Myers.

Reese(Rock Creek Six #1) by Lori Handeland

~My goodness am I loving this so far. It's a western romance and I'm so glad to have found one that is readable for me. I know others want to be able to get lost in a good western romance but can't...stop abusing the search engines and try the Rock Creek Series my Lori Handeland and Linda Devlin(not sure if they're the same person); it's lively and will introduce you to fun-amusing characters.

~Gah! I can't wait to start Sullivan's story!

Out of Control by Suzanne Brockmann

~After reading Breaking Point by Pamela Clare, which was an amazing read, I went on a spree for another adventure-suspense romance...figured Out of Control could help with my withdrawal symptoms *wink*

The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley

~This is a time travel romance that I can fairly assume is getting many readers interested because of the previous time travel romance by this author, The Winter Sea, which got very good reviews. I never read a time travel romance and hope Susanna Kearsley books will be a good start.

The Restorer by Amanda Stevens

I found out about this book when I came across the sequel, The Kingdom, which releases March 27 2012. Usually I'm not interested in ghost stories but based on the book description and the first few pages...I thought I might like it.
